This Intellectual Property Policy describes how Secsmo treats intellectual property rights in connection with the platform available at secsmo.com. By accessing or using our services, you acknowledge and agree to the terms set out below.
All content made available through the Secsmo platform, including but not limited to course materials, instructional videos, written texts, graphics, software, interfaces, data compilations, methodologies, and branding elements, is the exclusive property of Secsmo or its licensed content providers. This content is protected by applicable intellectual property laws, including copyright, trademark, and related rights.
Nothing in these terms transfers any ownership right to you. Access to platform content does not constitute a transfer of intellectual property.
Subject to your compliance with these terms and any applicable subscription or enrollment agreement, Secsmo grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use platform content solely for your personal, non-commercial educational purposes.
You may view, stream, and interact with course content to which you have been granted access. You may take personal notes and retain materials explicitly designated by Secsmo as downloadable.
You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, publicly display, broadcast, modify, adapt, create derivative works from, sell, sublicense, or otherwise exploit any platform content without prior written permission from Secsmo. Automated access, scraping, or systematic extraction of content is strictly prohibited.
The name Secsmo, the associated logo, and any other product or service names displayed on the platform are trademarks or trade names of Secsmo. You may not use these marks in any manner that could cause confusion, imply endorsement, or disparage Secsmo without explicit written consent.
Third-party trademarks referenced on the platform remain the property of their respective owners. Their appearance does not imply any affiliation with or endorsement by Secsmo.
You retain ownership of any original content you submit to the platform, including forum posts, assignment submissions, feedback, or other user-generated contributions, subject to the license granted below.
By submitting content to the platform, you grant Secsmo a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive, perpetual license to use, store, display, reproduce, and adapt that content solely for the purposes of operating, improving, and promoting the platform. This license does not grant Secsmo the right to sell your content to third parties.
You represent that any content you submit is your original work or that you hold all necessary rights to submit it, and that such content does not infringe any third-party intellectual property rights, privacy rights, or applicable law.
Secsmo respects intellectual property rights and expects users to do the same. If you believe that content available on the platform infringes your copyright or other intellectual property rights, please submit a written notice to our designated contact below containing the following information:

Secsmo will review all properly submitted notices and take appropriate action, which may include removing or disabling access to the allegedly infringing content while the matter is investigated.
Secsmo maintains a policy of terminating, in appropriate circumstances, the accounts of users who are determined to be repeat infringers of intellectual property rights. Secsmo reserves the right to make this determination at its sole discretion.
The platform may incorporate or link to content, tools, or resources owned by third parties. Such third-party content remains subject to its own applicable intellectual property terms. Secsmo does not grant any license to third-party intellectual property by virtue of making it accessible through the platform.
All software used to deliver the Secsmo platform, including source code, object code, algorithms, and related documentation, is proprietary to Secsmo or its licensors. You may not reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to derive the source code of any software forming part of the platform.
If you submit ideas, suggestions, or feedback regarding the platform or its content, you agree that Secsmo may use such submissions freely and without obligation or compensation to you. Any such feedback will not be treated as confidential and may be incorporated into the platform at Secsmo's discretion.
Secsmo reserves the right to update or modify this Intellectual Property Policy at any time. The date of the most recent revision will be indicated at the top of this page.
